The fitness industry is booming, even though the retail industry has been struggling the last few years. Women are spending big amounts for their health journey to be a fashionable and stylish one, not far behind are the men who’s increasing their annual spend on clothes compared to before. Some of the reasons behind this can be because fitness and health is more important due to that people are more aware of these days. The Market expert Professor Bryan Lukas also believes it is due to celebrity endorsement through social media that has promoted this to be. This in turn has led activewear such as bayse, nike, Rebook etc to influence our daily wardrobes and is now seen as part of Streetwear. The predictions are that the industry revenue will increase by 5.2% to reach $1.8 billion.
